Kick'n off the New Year

I made it! I officially am in 2006, and survived the carpet fiber smoking celebration of 2005. Minx and I seem to not remember a thing after the stroke of 12 except for some damn good dogs. No there was no smooch'n, but I think I'm a bit satisfied with that for the moment.

Its funny the entire month of December, I was my anxiety over-striken self of past. January 2nd rolled around and I'm feeling like a sleeping through the night champ, go figure! The subconcious is funny and can wreak havoc on your world especially when santa, reindeers, and the ubiquitousness of cute couples is involved.

I even started January 2nd with a physical, and got a clean bill of health. So my low cholesterol, low pulse, low blood pressure, only slightly overweight bod is taking 2006 by storm.

I even got asked out on a date last night, well kinda...they typical...what would you say if I asked you out kinda thing. And then it turned into, you're so liberal I thought you would ask me out, joking. And for all the men out there, NO GIRL is that liberal : ) I ultimately respectfully declined since he's a friend of a someone who doesn't like to "mix friends." Well, that and he has a 2-year-old and an ex-wife. Now I can handle that, but there better be some serious sparks.

So I guess 2006 will turn out ok. Hopefully there will be some love, adventure, and of course without saying drama. I am moving to DC after all...eggghh!
